Songwriter Andrew Thomas returns with his new single 'Broken Home' on 7th October 2022.

A song inspired by the TV show ‘This Is Us’. Seeing a family through the eyes of child really provoked my thought process; and how observing certain behaviours, can affect a child’s outlook on life as they grow older and mature.
Although we may not have the best upbringing, the love we pass on is vital to our family and loved ones.

I can see the devil in your eye.
Teardrops form a river, wash and take me away.

Now I'm 10 years old and I can see,
the impact your behaviours had on me.
Like all the times you'd strike us, Mum would fall to the floor.

Every moment was lost, you had a heart it was crushed.
But today you, seem at peace so you hold me.

Today, I can put all of that aside,
The real you has left now in my mind.
Scars are on my shoulders, no more tears left to cry.

As they lower you down, to your place in the ground.
